SERVICES
“It’s hard to beat a person who never gives up.”
~ Babe Ruth
Community-Based Services (MHSS)
MHSS (Mental Health Skill-Building) provides mental health services for adults in the community over the age of twenty-one (21) and adolescents with the desire to move out on their own. These individuals have a history of emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric disorders resulting in significant functional impairments in major life activities. These individuals are those who experience severe and persistent symptoms of mental illness causing further symptoms and impairments which result in producing distress and disabilities in their normal day-to-day functioning.
Intensive In-Home (IIH)
IIH services for Children/Adolescents under age 21 are intensive, time-limited interventions provided typically but not solely in the residence of a child who is at risk of being moved into an out-of-home placement or who is being transitioned to home from out-of-home placement due to documented clinical needs of the child.
Individuals must demonstrate a clinical necessity arising from a severe condition due to mental, behavioral, or emotional illness that results in significant functional impairments in major life activities.
